The HEAD tag is the second level of the tags in a page. This tag is used to contain page header information, such as the title of the page. Other tags like the Meta tag, can also go into the heading section. The heading needs to be closed before using the BODY tag, as covered in the "BODY Tag" section. The heading is treated as a separate section of the document and should not be enclosed in the BODY tag.
